Integrations
Start n8n workflows and Zaps from Outladder events, act on your workspace from them, and give AI agents ready-made skills. Every change still follows your approval settings.
What starts a workflow
The n8n trigger and the Zapier triggers use these events:
- reply.hot: Someone replied with interest.
- meeting.booked: A meeting was booked from outreach or found in your CRM.
- signal.created: A new buying signal was recorded.
- deal.stage_changed: A deal moved to another stage, in Outladder or from your CRM.
And these actions:
- Create or update a contact POST /contacts
- Enroll a contact in a sequence POST /enrollments
- Add to a list POST /lists/{id}/members
- Create a task POST /tasks
- Get an account GET /accounts/{id}
- Search accounts and contacts GET /search
n8n
Coming soonA community node, n8n-nodes-outladder, with an Outladder Trigger and an Outladder action node. Add an Outladder API credential with a workspace key. When you activate a workflow the trigger subscribes itself and checks every request's signature. The action node also works as a tool for n8n AI agents.
Until it is published, use an n8n Webhook trigger and an HTTP Request node. The steps are on the API and automation tab in the app.
Zapier
Coming soonAn Outladder app with instant triggers (New Hot Reply, New Meeting Booked, New Signal, Deal Stage Changed), the actions above, Find Contact and Find or Create Contact. You connect it with a workspace API key.
Until it is listed, use Webhooks by Zapier: Catch Raw Hook for events and Custom Request for the API.
AI agent plugin
Coming soonA Claude Code plugin that connects to the Outladder MCP server and adds five skills. The same skills come as plain SKILL.md folders for other agents, with setup for Claude Desktop and ChatGPT.
- daily-triage: What needs a person today: approvals, blocked actions, hot replies, meetings and strong signals.
- research-account: A one page brief on one company: why now, the people, the angle.
- build-list-from-icp: Finds accounts or people that fit your ICP and saves a list once you confirm.
- draft-and-test-sequence: Drafts a sequence in your voice, checks banned claims and sends one test draft for approval.
- weekly-pipeline-report: Sent, replies, meetings, deals by stage and the best and weakest sequence.
You can use the MCP server today without the plugin:
claude mcp add --transport http outladder https://outladder.com/mcpAPI and OpenAPI
The OpenAPI 3.1 spec stays at this address. Changes inside v1 only add things.
https://outladder.com/api/v1/openapi.jsonBase URL https://outladder.com/api/v1. Send a workspace API key as Authorization: Bearer gtm_.... An admin makes keys on Settings, API keys and picks the scopes. Triggers need webhooks:write.
Webhooks
- Subscribe with POST /api/v1/webhooks and an https URL. The answer has the signing secret, once. Remove it with DELETE /api/v1/webhooks/{id}. A key can remove only the webhooks it made.
- Each delivery carries X-GTM-Signature: t=..,v1=.., an HMAC-SHA256 of t.raw body. Refuse anything older than 5 minutes. X-GTM-Delivery lets you drop duplicates.
- Answer 2xx within 10 seconds. Failures are tried 8 times in all, after 30 s, 2 min, 10 min, 30 min, 2 h, 6 h, 12 h.
- Deliveries follow your approval settings. On approve each, a delivery waits in the inbox until someone approves it. While all agents are paused nothing is sent.
- GET /api/v1/webhooks/samples?event= returns recent events, or one example, for setting up a trigger.
Limits
| What | Limit |
|---|---|
| Requests per API key | 120 a minute unless an admin set another, from 1 to 6000. The bucket refills evenly. |
| Over the limit | 429 with Retry-After in seconds. Every answer has X-RateLimit-Limit. |
| MCP server | The key's own limit, or 120 calls a minute for an app sign-in. |
| Request body | 1 MB |
| Page size | 100 items. Pass next_cursor as cursor for the next page. |
| Webhooks per key | 50 |
| Search | At least 2 characters, at most 25 results of each type. |
Writes that reach the outside world (emails, posts, CRM updates, webhook deliveries) still go through your workspace's policy and approvals, whatever tool asks for them.
