Website visitors and privacy
Last updated 3 November 2026. Outladder is run by KubeGraf. Questions: legal@kubegraf.io.
Outladder customers can add a small script to their own website. It tells them which companies visit and which pages they read. It works at company level only. It never names the person. If you visited one of our customers’ sites, this page explains what happened to your visit.
1. Nothing happens before you agree
- The script waits for the site’s cookie banner. It sends nothing and stores nothing on your device until you agree to analytics.
- If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, the script does nothing at all, even if you agree on the banner.
- If you withdraw consent later, it stops at once and removes its session id.
2. What it sends
- The path of the page you opened, for example /pricing. Not the rest of the address.
- The website you came from, as a domain only, for example google.com.
- Campaign tags in the link (utm_source and similar), if there are any.
- A random session id, kept in the browser’s session storage. It is gone when you close the tab. It is not a cookie and it is not shared across sites.
It does not read your screen size, fonts, plugins or anything else that could fingerprint your device.
3. How a company is found
- Your IP address reaches our server with the page view, like any web request. We use it once, to ask the site owner’s own reverse-IP provider (for example IPinfo or Snitcher) which organisation owns the network.
- We never store your IP address. We keep a keyed hash of it for up to 30 days so the same office network is not looked up twice.
- If the network belongs to a business, the site owner sees that business and the pages read from it. If it is a home, mobile or cloud network, nothing about the visit is linked to anyone.
4. What it never does
- It never identifies, looks up or emails the person behind a visit, anywhere in the world.
- It never sets a cookie.
- It never tracks you across other websites.
- It never sends anything before consent.
5. What the site owner sees
A list of companies with visit counts and page paths, for example “Acme visited pricing 3 times this week”. This shows on the company’s record and in the owner’s list of buying signals. Any later email goes to people at that company found through the owner’s licensed data providers, with all our normal rules. It is never aimed at the person who visited, because we do not know who that is.
6. How long it is kept
- Page views: 90 days.
- Visit sessions (one company or none each): 395 days.
- Reverse-IP answers: up to 30 days.
7. Who is responsible
The website owner is the controller of this data and must cover it in its own privacy notice and cookie banner. KubeGraf processes it for them under our data processing agreement. To ask about your data, contact the website owner, or write to us at legal@kubegraf.io and we will pass it on.
